Creighton Model FertilityCare Services (CrMS) are provided by FertilityCare Practitioners (FCP) who are trained in a 13-month Allied Health education program. This is the most advanced educational program available in this field. After graduating from the program practitioners can become certified through the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals, the national certifying body. These teachers are highly trained to assist you in all aspects of the use of this system and are able to work with medical consultants to give you the best care available.
Jamie Hobor, BS, CFCP
Certified FertilityCare Practitioner
Hi! My name is Jamie Hobor and I've been a FertilityCare Practitioner since 2012 and Certified since 2014. I personally came into the program to find underlying medical issues, but my eyes were opened to so much more! I quickly found that we needed more Practitioners especially in Hampton Roads where I see clients in person; I also love meeting clients online. I enjoy working with all women and couple regardless of their reproductive category, and I enjoy sharing the good news of fertility awareness with our youth and single women.
Jamie sees clients at DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk, VA and online. Her hours are Tuesday & Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings.
Katherine Young, FCP
Katherine’s passion for science, education, and medicine led her to pursue training as a FertilityCare Practitioner and she completed her internship in February 2019. Her goal as a practitioner is to help build a culture of life through empowering women and couples to understand their fertility and respect God’s gift of sexuality and the dignity of the human person. Her particular areas of interest are NaProTechnology, infertility, and postpartum but she enjoys working with women and couples in all reproductive categories. She and her husband Jason have been charting with Creighton since their engagement and have 3 young children. When not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being out in nature, exploring her hometown, and traveling. Katherine has a B.S. in Physics from Furman University and an M.S. in Medical Physics from Vanderbilt School of Medicine.
Katherine sees clients at DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk, VA and online. Her hours are Monday evenings and Friday day
Katrina Smay, FCI
Hi! I'm Katrina Smay. I heard about NaPro Technology and the Creighton Model in 2014 and began my internship to become a FertilityCare Instructor in 2015. I fell in love with the science behind NaPro Technology and the charting system, along with the other helpful tools that Creighton and NaPro offer to women and couples. My passion is revealing to women the amazing reproductive system that they have been blessed with, and the ways they can work with their bodies to be happy and healthy, I have a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. My husband and I currently have 3 beautiful little boys and live in West Virginia. He is an Army Nurse who recently transitioned to the Reserves, so we do a bit of moving around. I am happy to teach in-person when I'm able, and virtually otherwise.
